Ideas for Podcast Slideshow
I was thinking about writing about how to care for your newborn. Such things are feeding your newborn, how and where the baby should sleep, and also how to bathe your newborn. These are all important things to know when you have a newborn.

podcast
For my podcast I was thinking about interviewing someone that did go through childbirth and has children. This is important because I would be receiving first hand information for someone that has been through pregnancy. It seems as if many people are doing interviews, so I am not set on an interview, but maybe find more information on pregnancy. This information focusing on a pregnant woman's emotional state. Such as how she feels differently from before she had a child and now. This is a huge change, and with a child comes lots of responsibilities and a different way of life. I think this is important because when you have a child, it is not just how you take care of your body, but how you care for your child when he or she is born.

webzine and conference
The way I want to set-up my webzine, is to have all the information on the topic I am writing about organized in different sections. Then I want to add some pictures. Pictures that go with my topic, such as pictures of babies, and woman who are pregnant. Also pictures to go with topics in my paper, such as nutrition and exercise. The title I was thinking could be Healthy Pregnancy. Something along those lines. For the conference I would like to discuss my writing, just making sure it's well organized, and cited properly. Also to make sure I have everything set up correctly on my profile page, allowing it to be viewed on the internet.

It is important to get prenatal care when you are pregnant. Regular check-up’s are very important, and they should not be missed. As soon as one thinks they are pregnant they should schedule an appointment. It is important to eat, and to not skip meals. You should find yourself eating more calories. This will help the baby grow. It is important that the pregnant woman gets enough calcium, iron, folic acid, and fluids.

Before you exercise during pregnancy, it is important to check with your doctor and set up an exercise routine. When exercising you should not push yourself and be careful to not fall or injure yourself, because that could hurt the baby. Exercise can give the pregnant woman more energy and strength.

topic
The topic I am going to write about is about pregnant women taking care of their bodies to stay healthy and have their baby be healthy. I know all pregnancies are different...and we can't predict what will happen. I just want to write about ways you can help yourself and body stay healthy for the pregnant women and the baby. I wanted to write about this because one day I want to have a family, and I think information about this would be useful. Also I have many friends and my sisters that are getting older and getting married and are thinking about children, so this would be helpful to them also.

This was my very first post, talking about the 3 topics I was considering, but I accidentally wrote it right on the facebook site, instead of here. So I just copied and pasted it here. This is what is read....Topics that I am considering would be something on education and something involving children. The reason these topics interest me is because my major is secondary education. I think it would be important to learn more information that would help me with my major. Also these topics would provide valuable information for the teaching profession.
Another topic I was thinking about was geared towards those that are pregnant or would like to have children one day. It would be about what changes a woman goes through and steps she can take to help her body and her child. I do not know much information on the topic, but I think it would be interesting and useful information. Some things I do know are that women are supossed to gain 25-35 pounds during pregnancy. Also I know the common things that women should not do which are drink and smoke. Also I have family and friends that are getting married and having children, so I think this topic would be useful.

Topic
I haven't really chosen a specific topic yet. I know I want to do something with children, and I kinda narrowed it to children's transition from toddler to going to school. Or ways to help keep children healthy using ages maybe from an infant to 3 yrs old or 3-6. Also talking about healthful food choices and exercise for children.
